How I changed my view towards the topic of Globalization
...wledge was limited. Hence, people were so far apart. However, as time goes by, ships, airplanes and telegraph were invented. People started to travel around the world, and the globe started to get smaller. Successful businessmen began to expand their companies to overseas. The advantage was, of course, to make more revenue by trading with even more customers. The contribution, however, was even bigger. They brought the world together as one family. People in different countries can use the same products. I would take Coca Cola as an example. Coca Cola is a very successful worldwide company; nearly everyone in the civilized countries has tried Coca Cola before, not only the people in the United States. People nowadays can buy products of different countries in their own country, because the transportation is now much easier. Import and export activities can be done efficiently. Many schools in the world accept international students too. I used to study in England, for 6 years. I met many foreign friends, and I learnt a lot from them, in the sense of cultures and manners. I could go back to Hong Kong in every major holiday, since the transportation was so easy. Communications developed more rapidly after Internet was found.
