...ven years old, he sold small sketches, and drawings to nearby neighbors. Instead of doing his school work Walt doodled pictures of animals, and nature. His knack for creating enduring art forms took shape when he talked his sister, Ruth, into helping him paint the side of the family's house with tar. Besides his other interests, Walt attended McKinley High School in Chicago. There, Disney divided his attention between drawing and photography, and contributing to the school paper. At night he attended the Academy of Fine Arts, to better his drawing abilities. Walt discovered his first movie house on Marceline's Main Street. There he saw a dramatic black-and-white recreation of the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. Even though their family was short of cash, and his father was always strict with him, Walt was encouraged by his mother and brother ,Roy , to pursue his dream. After their family moved to Kansas, Walt still continued developing his talent, and found his other passion in performing arts and acting. He used to sneak out of his house at night to perform his comical skills at local theaters. Later on, when he was not yet 22 years old, he decided to move to Hollywood after his company called the Laugh-O-Grams went bankrupt, with a story called Alice in the Cartoonland. This movie was a flop, he was very disappointed because he had risked all his money in this movie. Until, New York bought his movie with enough money to open his own little company with his brother. In the yaer 1925, Walt married Lillian Bounds, and they had two daughters Diane and Sharon. Three years later, Walt created a new character called, Mickey Mouse. This cartoon character was huge hit, people loved it everywhere since it was the first cartoon with real sounds. After that, he had the privilege for two years to create colorful cartoons. He was so happy since he could really show his love at last. And he made his first full length debut from the cartoon Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. But it’s actually his movie called the Flowers and Trees that won the academy’s award. Being a successful man, Walt had a big problem with his emotional control. He never really showed his emotion and temper if he’s very mad. He always hides it, and many times he fell sick for it. But he always said that he didn’t want people to see his bad side, he just wanted everyone to view Disney as eternal joy. Even so, the accidental death of his mom in 1938 was a great shock to Walt. Because Walt’s mom died only a month after he bought his parents a new house near his studio for a faulty furnace. Walt was haunted by a guilty feeling for the rest of his life. But he never failed doing hisrole as a good father, her daughter Diane Disney Miller once said, that “Daddy never missed a father's function no matter how I discounted it. He always takes everything as important. He is a perfect father.” After the world war II, the Disney went bankrupt because their assets were held by the government. But, because many people protested and went against the government for this, they finally got it back. Walt kept creating movies with good morals that could educate children. His only dream was to entertain people as well as educating them with good morals. He believed children everywhere deserved to have the same dreams, and rights. Which is why he had always dreamed to open an amusement park, full of magic that is very big and will be the source of joy to ma...
