...our room, however, our dream vacation ended. Someone had broken into our room. They stole everything: our nice suitcases, our brand-new clothes, my wallet and her purse. The only things the thieves hadn't taken were my razor and our two toothbrushes! My wife and I were heartbroken. We searched the room, hoping to find something, anything, of ours. Under the bed, we found our camera. This cheered us up a bit. We were determined to make the best of a bad situation and enjoy the rest of our vacation. After all, the crooks had forgotten our camera. And we could at least brush our teeth that night and in the morning. The next day, we woke up and ordered a big breakfast in bed. After eating and washing up, we went paragliding, snorkeling and swimming. By night, we had forgotten about the thieves. We took lots of pictures with our camera. "Don't use up the whole roll of film!" my wife warned. I looked at the camera counter and saw that we had only five shots left. "That's strange," I said. "I thought we put a new roll of film in the camera before we left." When we got back to Taipei, we took the film to be developed. Looking at the photos, we relived all the excitement of our vacation.
