...s. I would like to see alot more of Leigertwood next season, too. We have too much selection for midfield and it could make things really hard for Dowie in terms of team selection. I would like to see both Watson and Soares given more opportunites, but not give them a regular starting line up together. I think it would be far too risky as they don't have the required experience to run the midfield together. They will obviously need to start some games together. Just not week in, week out. Is it time to unleash them? Yes it is. Should they play together, 'week in, week out'? No. Aki Riihilahti and Michael Hughes will be a big factor in our say as to whether we'll bounce straight back up next season. Hughes primarily, team captain, should have a key role next season in the starting line-up. For us next season, a good blend of youth and experience will see us run close to getting one of the coveted automatic promotion spots - next season will not be a time to throw out the experience entirely and replace it with two inexperienced, but talented youngsters. Ben Watson, as I've said a million times before, has a superb range of passing, has a lethal shot, but needs to brush up his tackling a bit before I'd call him a regular fixture in the starting eleven. By all means, give him starts in the first team, I have no problem with that, he'll gain confidence and experience, but alongside an experienced head in the form of Hughes or Aki, rather than Soares.
