Atlantic City CC is strategically located in the midst of a great tourist area, but still maintains its ability to handle numerous conventions with a very professional and experienced staff. This article discusses how hotels and convention centers have evolved from convention hotels and beachfront vacation hotels to a combination of both. This gives conventioneers the best of both worlds: a state of the art meeting and conference halls along with recreational and relaxation activities. One hotel mentioned in the article is the Adam’s Mark in Jacksonville, Florida. This hotel has both large and small meeting spaces to accommodate any size function. The meeting spaces also include outdoor exhibit areas and six terraces overlooking the St. Johns River. This unique flare is what makes this convention hotel recognized by the Black Meetings and Tourism magazine. Lastly, the Atlantic City Convention Center is one center that is in the heart of the city’s action. This convention center can house both small and large expos and conferences as well as “top-notch” multi-media applications.
