These classes could be offered occasionally or perhaps during lunch sessions (Healthy Culture, 2005). · Stress Management such as learning to deal with stress and also some stress management techniques such as Yoga classes. · EAP Program is counseling for free to the employee for reasons of financial problems, stress, smoking, drug or alcohol abuse, or problems with children or teenagers. EAP programs are confidential, which the employer does not know who personally uses it, but they receive a report of usage by age of the employee, sex, or tenure. The report also shows if the counseling is due to marital, financial, or family problems. · A contest called Spring Adventure is in groups with 3 employees. They get together and face challenges such as (5) points per day for eating, (4) points for eating helpings of fruit, (5) points for drinking 16 oz. of water per day, (10) points for walking, running, or cardio workout, etc. At the end of a 3 month period, all participants are entered into a drawing for prizes. · Life enrichment classes such as the Pacific Institute are another addition to the program. This training would help the employee not only to look inside himself/herself, but also how to understand their children and others. For example: When putting your child to bed; you should ask your child what happened that was good that day and leave with positive and happy memories with your child at the end of the day. This method can help children wake up more positive and it would help the bonding between the parents and the children. Many other programs similar to this would promote that the employer cares about them and their families, too. These all can be possible additions to the J&J LIF program. A company’s culture should have to be similar to J&J’s in order to implement a successful wellness program. J&J’s culture means they care about their employees and their health enough.
