A Calling in Sports
...’ve developed through my years of playing. On the basketball court, I’ve learned that determination and hard work pay off as I anticipate being a starter this season. My true passion lies in the game of football. For the past ten years I have poured my all into anchoring the offensive line from the center position. I have experienced both ends of the competitive spectrum from championships in Little League to years of disappointment with my high school. With the players’ hard work and dedication, hopefully our senior year will end in a return to the playoffs. Years of participation in sports have afforded me the opportunity to grow and develop into a leader that others can follow. I have the honor of being named Varsity Captain of Centerpoint Football, Basketball and Baseball this year. Taking this role very seriously, each week I head onto that field, court or diamond and encourage my teammates to do whatever they have to do to be victorious.
