Euthanasia should never be allowed

However, the most basic principle of morality is that killing is wrong. On the morally point of view, euthanasia is the murder. On the other hand, there is a strong point that is called the Slippery Slope argument to against euthanasia. In general, it claims that if people allow something relatively harmless today, it will start a trend that results in some things currently unthinkable becoming accepted tomorrow. Once people accept mercy killing as a solution for a single problem, then people will find hundreds of problems which mercy killing can be thought as a solution tomorrow. For example, people concerned that vulnerable people, such as the elderly, lonely, sick or distressed; they would feel pressure request early death. Consequently, mercy killing is a "Pandora's box". Another argument for euthanasia concern medical ethics. Some people claim that doctors should reduce dying trauma from patients and families and euthanasia is the practice of painlessly using to dying persons who have incurable, painful, or distressing diseases. However, this issue of euthanasia is having a tremendous impact on medicine today. Euthanasia will rapidly destroy trust between doctors and the dying. It totally violates the primary principle of medical ethics which is non-maleficence. In addition, there is palliative care which is good for patient, but euthanasia just can be a lazy option.
