A great many Internet chatters are not honest about their personal situations. Some are married, or in committed relationships and are not always above board concerning these facts. For reasons unknown they will many times fabricate feelings that do not exist for monetary gain or sexual pleasure, or perhaps just for the thrill of causing emotional damage to another person. Being aware that this happens should cause a person to guard their emotions while on line. The above cautions aside, there are many kind and honest people on line.
