...o death at last. Another type gained the author’s approval. Their representatives are Doctor Manette, Lucie, Darney, and great Carton and even Mr Lorry. What they did was out of love. Lucie used her love to make her father back to normal again. On the other hand, Doctor Manette tried all means to save Darney out of his love for Lucie. Darney came back to France because he wanted to save his former servant. And great Carton, lovely Carton substituted Darney to be beheaded because of his love for Lucie and for something great, unworldly. It is love that brought them hope. It is love that made them strong, mature and accomplished. It is love that made the world more beautiful! The revolutionary pioneers composed the third type, most of whom came from the penniless farmers and workers. What they have was unsufficent, innutrious food, torn and shabby clothes, and poor, tiny cottages. They sweat and toil day in and day out, but what they got was mostly taken away by the rulers. Moreover, they had no esteem and dignity at all. They were treated ad dogs, pigs or whatever stupid, dumb and emotionless animals. After suffering so much, certainly, their hearts were filled with anger, hate, and revenge. Finally, the revolution broke out like unlimited flood.
