CONSENT FROM GUESTS OF THE BRIDE AND GROOM Will all of you witnessing these promises pledge your encouragement to the covenant that Scott and Tonya are making today? If you will please affirm by saying, “We will,” EXCHANGE OF MARRIAGE VOWS We have now arrived at the part of the ceremony where Tonya and Scott will exchange their official wedding vows. RIBBON CEREMONY In preparation for the wedding rings, there will now be a ribbon ceremony that will start with the bridal party and be passed to the family members of the bride and groom. This ceremony will initiate with the singing of the song, A Ribbon in the sky by Steve Wonder. THE EXCHANGE OF RINGS The minister shall ask for each ring and ask God’s blessing as follows: Bless, O Lord, this ring to be a sign of the vows by which this man and woman have bound themselves to each other; through Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
