Lego itself controls up to 20% of the domestic market, drawing on production mainly in Denmark, Switzerland, the US and South Korea. With a strategic alliance of Mahindra Intertrade and Lego, Lego branded toys have started establishing their market in the South Asia region. Mattel Toys, as another dominant force in the Indian toy market has developed the organization for product management and distribution, with 19 branch/stock points and over 350 distributors. Some 12,000 retail outlets regularly sell Mattel toys. Funskool Toys is the third largest toy producer. All three big players have a collective marketalternative learning tools.
