At the persecution period in the history, Emperor Roman did killed lots of Christians, and forced other Christians to abandon their faith, but the Christians still assist the right faith, and their theology studying and research became more and more systematic. 4. Contributions of significant people. Like Polycarp died for his faith gave the excellent model to other Christians. There are some excellent Christians also made great contributions for Systematic Theological. Element 2 Sources used in Systematic Theology. 1. Bible studying. The Bible is the basic and the best resource of our theology studying. From it we can learn lots of things, be excellent with Bible studying is the strong foundation of our Christian life. 2. Church teaching. Our church has regular Bible reference every week, from search the reference, I learned a lots, and it is another important studying source before I came to our Bible school. 3. Creeds and doctrinal statements. When I baptized by the pastor of our church, I receive a creeds book from our church. It likes a daily note to tell me a creed every day. It gave me lots of help for my spiritual improvement. How sources are used by application to a particular belief. 1. Such as God is the creator. From the Bible study, I found lots of facts to describe he is the creator of the whole world. how did he work, made human, made the day of rest, through Gensis we can easy to find it. Also from my church teaching, the pastor taught us the first thing is God is the creator, he used the factors from his research, to indicate the truth-God is the creator and he is the only God. Also from the creed book I found lots of sentences to describe this fact, God made us by his way, he is the only creator, we must know the truth. 2. God as trinity. From the Bible we found the story of God talked with people directly in the Old Testament, in order to save our sin God sent his son Jesus to us and died on the cross for our sin, after Jesus back to his father he sent Holy Spirit to every Christian. God through Jesus to do his way, also the Holy Spirit lead us in the same way. Our church pastor emphasis the trinity, because they all lead by God’s command. In the creeds, we also see Father, Son and Holy Spirit trinity. 3. The divinity of Jesus. From Bible studying we can clear know Jesus’ whole story, and clear descript of his three years doctrine. From the church study, we can find out the background of every event behind. From the creeds we understand the explanation of Jesus’ words and his main teaching. All of these sources help us to build up the whole picture of these people from the Bible, it give us the right foundation of building our faith. How sources relate to each other. Bible is the basic and mighty book and source of all other theology books. Creeds are the formulation from different source by command opinion. Church teaching always chose the simple and easy way to explain the doctrine. Element 3 The skills required for Systematic Theology. 1. The ability to relate a selected Christian belief to the unity of Christian theology. When we find a topic and want to illustrate our opinion, we should know where we can find our resource, and which factors are strong and relate to this topic. 2.
