...s, her strength and her determination. My mom is a very kind person. I remember one time when I was 4, I broke the TV by smashing it with a baseball bat. She was kind enough not to say anything. She’s always kind like that. She’s always there for me if I need her. When I’m in trouble she is kind enough to help me out, no matter what it is. She’s helped me get though some tough times in my life. After my father died, it was very hard for me to adjust to everything and my mom was always very kind with me. When I did things wrong, she didn’t make a big deal out of it and was always supporting me. Even now, when I come late, she makes sure that I have something to eat in the fridge. Even total strangers, my mom helps them out. She’s always there to listen to their problems and give them support. My mom is one of the kindest people I know. My mom is a very strong person. After my dad died, she had to raise me and my sister by herself. As you can tell from my TV example, I wasn’t an easy child to raise. She had to deal with a culture that doesn’t approve of a woman being the head of the family. For ten years she had to deal with this culture. Once she finally got the strength to move to Canada to provide her family with a better life, it was hard for her to adjust. We first moved to Calgary, which is very cold. Coming from Pakistan this is a huge change for us, especially for her. Somehow, she found the strength to cope with it.
