A Memorial Day Weekend Dinner

...elter skelter all over the place could not be forgotten. The place was spacious enough to offer service to about 45 people. Fluorescent lighting on the ceiling of the restaurant provided a very bright room. There was also a garden setting in the middle section of the restaurant which had medium-sized roses and jasmine flowers for a pleasant atmosphere. Kimberly returned after five minutes with the drinks served with a lot of ice cubes which came along with nacho chips as appetizers. We were then ready to order from our menu. I ordered a chicken stir fry that was served with plain rice and a slice of cheese cake for dessert. My uncle, on the other hand, ordered just a bowl of Caesar salad because he was dieting. The meal I ordered was new to me and I had no idea about how it tasted but from the picture in the menu, I believed it was going to be a delicious meal. The waitress then left with the menu. Now be quiet and eat so that you don’t choke yourself.” Although the plain rice appeared mush like, it tasted sticky sweet. The chicken was soft whereas the vegetables were crunchy and spicy. The sauce mixed with it made it taste juicy and soft with a pineapple flavor. The food stayed warm until I was done eating. On the whole, this meal had a savory taste. I was excited when I looked at my slice of cheese cake which had three layers and was garnished with cherries. My cheesecake had been served with the rest of my meal, but I could not start eating it right away. I felt full so I waited about ten minutes. The cheese cake was placed on a brown small plate, and I enjoyed it with a teaspoon. It was smooth and thin to cut through easily. It tasted both sugary and cheesy. I cheerfully ate it in quite a fast-paced manner. U...
