The job may not be done as well and the workday will probably take longer. The paradigm fits into this situation because of the way that everyone must be at the job to do the job right and make the company run effectively. Some of the jobs we do consist of you doing part of a job, and then another person finishing the job that was started. This pattern may be done all day long. If there isn’t a person there then the system of doing the job correctly is broke. The structural-functional paradigm insists that this job would be solid and stable only if the right people and the right patterns be made to complete the system. In my understanding of the paradigm I would say that the presence and communication at this job are completely necessary in order to have a stable, solid company.
