... a feud that would make history. Achilles has a power struggle within himself, both mentally and physically. He is first mentally focused on the things he cares about and yet physically he fights still pondering thoughts and strategizing. There is also his loyalty to the people that believe in him and fight with him. Achilles had to fight for someone he despise and that someone being Agamemnon despise him just as much. Achilles fought with an “eye for an eye” attitude and what was his was rightfully his and for the king to lower him and degrade him angered Achilles.
