Paintball, while attracting a crowd, would get looked upon by every student in the school as a fast, but fun game to watch and even participate in. The local booster clubs would help as far as jerseys and apperal are concerned. By introducing the sport of paintball to this district, we would add another group for anyone of any age and size to be a part of and enjoy. The lack of participation might not be depending on the sport, but the physical attributes that have to be had to partake in them. Wrestling for example has many weight classes, while paintball has only one. One class designed for every person willing to give the sport an open minded try. This fact could bring up another topic at assemblies, and social gatherings for the school. The teachers may even be willing to step onto the field to have a student/faculty game. Having such events like this is a prime example of why this sport can not only attract many new people for our home crowd, but also boost the school spirit displayed by every student. The most important but most commonly overlooked detail of paintballing is the safety of it. Considering the jersey, knee pads, face mask, and whatever else each player might wear to enhance their performance makes the game quite safe to all those who participate. Of course, with this game there comes some paint from gettin hit were you don't have a pad, but that comes with everry sport there is. Football for example, you can get hit in the stomach and the wind be knocked out of you. Or in baseball, you can get hit anywhere on your bosy by the ball and it hurt more then a paintball would. The thing that comes with the safety of the game is the seriouseness. If a player is not serious about the game, and just wants to hurt someone, he probobly will, but that is the purpose of the coach to choose whether or not that person plays.
