Both the Australian and New Zealand currencies are quite similar. In fact the Australian and New Zealand coins are so similar that both their 20c coins are the same size and weight and are passed through each country as legal tender. The back of the both countries coins have the same layout, that being same portrait of queen (and same queen) and same position of the county’s name and Queens name and the date minted.
