PRIVATE EDUCATION This section will introduce the private education in Bahrain with particular reference: 1- Laws and regulations. 2- Statistics in number of institutions, teachers and students. 1.3 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY It is expected by the end of this study an understanding can be reached concerning the effect of leadership on teacher mobility. 1.4 LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY This study examines the reasons for teacher mobility in two selected private schools in Bahrain for two major reasons: 1- The number of private schools in Bahrain is 62. 2- The limitation of the assignment 5000-6000 words. 2. REVIEW OF LITERATURE 2.1 TEACHER MOBILITY A summary of what is the literature concerning teacher mobility and its effect on school as a learning community. 2.2 LEADERSHIP ROLE ON TEACHER JOB STATIFCATION AND STABILITY A summary of what is the literature concerning the effect of leadership on teacher mobility in a number of countries. 3. DATA COLLECTION 3.1 METHODOLOGY For the purpose of this study, the selection of participants will be as outlined below: • Selection of two private schools with the highest rate of teacher mobility. • Selection of two teachers who have changed school in the last academic year. • Selection of one questionnaire employed in the pilot studies concerning the same issue. • Meeting with the teachers and school heads. 3.2 RESULTS & DISCUSSION 4.
