THANKS TO YOU
... as well – for we have already been molded and equipped with the knowledge yet we have to move on from here to face a more formidable task in college. Amidst all our gladness, indeed, there is a resounding voice calling from our hearts. In this modern and rapidly changing world, what concerns us today might be the faltering issue of tomorrow. I am talking about several social problems that beset us today, like the rising level of poverty in our country. Many are deprived and less privileged but what is disturbing is our own ability to respond and extend help if need be. What would truly delight us today is when not anyone among us here would be part of the problem someday. Dear fellow graduates, God is calling on us to be more responsive to the needy and with hope that someday we can be of great help to others, let us: a) Continue with our strive to pursue higher learning because education will carry us to triumph and shield us against defeat; b) Indulge in socio-civic activities like medical missions, volunteerism, feeding program, etc; c) Spread the good news and be educators of God d) Only then, we are worthy to be called sons and daughters of St. Paul who uphold the values of a good Christian formation; Only then we could express our sincerest gratitude to our mentors, the sisters and many others who in many ways influenced our lives to become who we are today; Only then we could prove that we are brought up by our parents in such a way that we care not only for ourselves but for others as well. The time has come for us to say goodbye to our dear St. Paul College.
