These movements by masses of "peoples" have marked many of our personal histories and shaped our cultures, beliefs, and practices. Upon entering a new society, human behavior takes the wheel and dictates where, who, or what we gravitate to. An initial ghetto style of living emerges, shielding people from the unfamiliar and limiting our exposure to what is new and unfamiliar. Overtime, the walls of isolationism are overcome by curiosity, necessity, and a desire to assimilate. This progression is predicated upon a willingness to share and receive equally.
