...nd don’t think that disagreements can be solved in any other way. Rasionalization refers to solving a disagreement with an argument or even by compromise rather than by violence. A rasionalist would rather loose an argument than use any type of a violent approach. People who can admit that they are not always right and don’t forget all the mistakes they have made has a certain amount of intellectual humility. They know they owe their knowledge to other human beings and will always make rasionalized decisions when in a disagreement. No, I do not believe that reason can ever be irrational. I know that it is in human nature to argue, but wouldn’t it just be better if everyone can always be reasonable. It may never happen but the dream of it makes it rational. There would never be any violent outbursts because of any argument. Isn’t that what every human being must strive for- as do Popper.
