...pe. But before making a decision remember that most of the trauma has already occurred. The women have been raped. The trauma will live with them for the rest of their lives. Furthermore, most woman would keep their pain to themselves, for several weeks, or months, they should have though of little else. This is when the question comes to mind; from the mothers stand point, whether or not it would be better to kill the developing baby. Well they are old enough to know and have an opinion as to whether she carries a baby or a blob of protoplasm. After having an abortion it’s clear that women can suffer from Post-Abortion Syndrome. When P.A.S. has occurred, it can carry the same burdens of guilt, denial and depression. They were not responsible; they were innocent victims and should bear no guilt. But, by contrast, abortion was done by them. It was in act of violence in which involved killing their own unborn child. I believe this is a certain fact; of a biological problem is which develops P.A.S. When the baby is conceived is certainly the rapist’s child, but it is also her child. The woman may try, but deep down inside, they cannot deny the biological reality. So eventhough they have an abortion, they would always have that pain for the rest of their lives.
