Explanation of trend: The milk frothed because of my positive energy moving the plunger up and down at speed which caused pressure with in the device and allowing air into the milk which causes bubbles or in this case froth to be made. Hypothesis supported: I thought and recent tests have shown that skim milk froths the best and my results of skim milk frothing at 8cm and winning proved it. Problems and difficulties: One problem was trying to keep the same rhythm that I was plunging at because after awhile your arm gets sore and measurement sometimes got a bit difficult because the froth was sunk in the middle but higher around the edges of the plunger. Error: It was possible that I could have been plunging out of time because I had to keep watch of the time and keep my rhythm the same as well and possibly might have measured a bit off the exact hight.
