Mansion, being locked up for more then half of his life, experienced tough and unpleasant situations in which he must fight for himself. He became so accustomed to prison that at one stage he did not want to leave. Being locked up he had no experiences feeling loved and was not grateful for who he was. Therefore his personality became evil because he lived in a dark atmosphere filled with hate. His view of the world was different to others. Manson was also a wannabe musician. He tried to become a pop musician in Los Angeles, but the producer Terry Melcher failed to help him. Manson, not getting what he wanted, decides to take revenge.
