.... You could tell his parents but then you would rat him out and then be considered a nark but then in the long run it might help him. He could hate you for a long time but he'll get over it. Then again the trust his parents had for him is tarnished. Your friend is talented, smart (not in this case), and super cool. His parents would see him as a law breaker and a smoker. You could anonymously give a report to the school and the school deals with it but then the friend would be miserable and the whole student body would find out because people talk.. Either way your hurting your friend and their is no way that he's not going to get punished...
