eulogy on Macbeth

...acbeth, was in awe of his agility and skill. When I had the good fortune to be by his side in battle, he always filled my heart with courage and admiration. It was with great honor to have fought beside you in the proceedings of battle. Macbeth’s courageous journey to becoming King of Scotland began as a brave soldier who would defend his country to death, to Thane of Cordor. Macbeth then gracefully took on the role of King after the passing of the late King Duncan and met all demands of such a public role and in doing this “he hathe bourne all things well” (act 3, scene 6, lines 16-17). Behind the public role of King, Macbeth was a loving and loyal husband. During his childhood years, Macbeth always displayed a rampant ambition, and a kindness rare among young men. As we all know this ambition and kindness above all his virtuous qualities stuck with him throughout his entire lifetime. Beneath his exterior guise Macbeth was a kind, gentle man and those who did not get the privilege to meet this gentle man would never know what a soft person “so full of the milk of human kindness” (act 1, scene 3, line 25) he really was. More importantly to Macbeth was the devotion and love for his wife and lady, the late lady Macbeth. To whom he often attributed his accomplishments to the love and support of his dear lady. Macbeth being the gentleman he was, he was also very private and would not show or reveal his emotions and thoughts to the world. This meant that know body could foresee that his mind was becoming diseased and his soul corrupted by evil elements.
