In my opinion I think her target audience was women of a slender build in there early 20’s. The aspects of design that make it successful are that it is very sexy but classy you would feel very feminine in that dress. In my opinion I think it is beautiful to look at and Donatella has wanted who ever was wearing it to feel individual and special. The contrasted between smooth and rough also is a good deign feature this shows her knowledge of texture and also her use of colour bold but harmonious. She has picked bold colours that contrasted well together. Also Donatella was using the shock tactic by making the dress so revealing she was wanting a reaction from critics and the media.
