An increased number of people internationally are now living more global lifestyles and are communicating or travelling efficiently and with relatively uninhibited ease. These enhancements have meant a number of changes in several aspect of life as we once new it, wether in sport, religion, fashion, food, brand images or the media cultural integration has made its affect and/or felt acknowledged and either debated or openly accepted. A more in-depth of this study would reveal other influences encouraging this theory of cultural integration these include homogenised landscapes, homogenised which means a purposeful actions which attempt to make things the same way and in this case the landscape, economic dominance and dependence which can be loosely defined as powerful countries having a dominant impact on less economically stable and impressionable developing nations. This could be through the immense increase in fast food chains which in turn lower the percentage of agricultural presence and can result in a lack of a sustainable development and the employment of less skilled workers. Such companies as MacDonald’s who produce French fries from potatoes which they can import cheaply mean that the agriculture in a country can decline by almost half. The actions of governments throughout the world have been a key influencing factor in globalisation and integration through policies on trade and foreign investments. An increasing number of developing countries have adopted an open trade approach. This means the reduction or complete abolishment of trade tax to allow free trade and therefore the introduction of new supplies is openly accepted into a country and either defused, adopted or adapted.
