What I expect to learn from social studies

As I know , a person’s mind set is crucial in order to achieve anything or to fulfill something perfectly. In this case, my perception on stuff can be adjusted to cope with the purpose of the matter. However, I need a guide to get the correct idea on the issue and I am seeing social studies as a beneficial and perhaps effective media for me to pull this out. By any means, I hope social studies will make me keen on judging and thinking using with the critic and critical thinking style on everything, hoping to be able to scrutinize a matter before resolving it. Positively, moral values can be derived from the syllabus leaving me with the personality a teacher should own and potray. Indeed, any skills can be incorporated by time but a person needs whether a motivation or guide to direct him or her to do so In defiance of the grammar mistakes that I and other trainees do, we bear lots and lots of words, quotes and language styles are in each and every one of us. The learning process of social studies does not only emphasize on English proficiency but English description as well. As they say, quality is the foremost essence when compared to quantity - many MALAY teachers are out there teaching English but regrettably, they teach it in the local language. Of course, there are certain conditions when the local tongue needs to assist in our teachings but when they teach grammar completely in local languages, to me it displays an abomination to the English teachers. To avoid me being in their shoes, I will harness everything that I can from this subject. I would like to take this chance to thank social studies that has given me the chance to get acquainted with new fellows which have the tendency to become friends with mutually respecting in each other and participate in all our group works. This has given me a commitment to fulfill- give the best in group work.. Either than language development, social studies is the place for me to get entangled with social skills as I lack of it for five years thus, it is vital for me to have the know how to approach my students so they can understand my teaching and preaching. Less but not least and not last, I foresee the ability to study the human nature in many perspectives although as I just go trough the scheme of work...
