... life. I watch televison at night, usually Fox News or a sports game, and occasionally am forced to watch a few shows that I could do without. I often read magazines while these shows are on also, so I guess this is considered multitasking. The magazines I read are usually design magazines such as PRINT or Communication Arts which are focused on today’s design and advertising. Occasionally I will pick up a People and flip thru to see what’s happening in Hollywood, where the trends of pop culture begin in some ways. But I guess that the advertising that is on the TV and the tabloids is probably the most direct form of pop culture I am exposed to at night. I mean, Advertising is massive branch of pop culture, right? I cant think of many other words that better describe Pop Culture than “Advertising”, in all its shapes and forms.
