Conservation of wild animals
...are suffering from poverty, starvation, disease and illiteracy. Handsome sums of eligible children have to drop out of school due to impoverishment. In my opinion, it is government’s primary responsibility to alleviate poverty and improve people’s welfare. The conservation of animals is lavishing taxpayers’ hard-earned money. Secondly, the extinction of biological species is a natural evolutionary process. It’s universally believed that “Natural select, fittest survive”. Therefore, life forms that can’t keep up with the newest species on the block will always encounter extinction unless they adapt to the new surroundings.
