Conceptual Relativism

For example, before Copernicus, astronomer’s believed that the earth was the center of the universe and that all the planets and stars revolved around it, believing God was the creator. That was their conceptual framework they seen fit. Over the years, with the development of science, astronomers built the first telescopes and seen the sky for themselves. They then established that the earth was not the center, and that it revolves around the sun. The conceptual framework then changed. Conceptual relativists believe the view realists and instrumentalists are flawed. Realists and instrumentalists mistakenly believe they can observe the world independently.
