As a result of doing this, not only is the student getting a perspective from the teacher, but also by one of the tutors available. This is another way of taking initiative outside of class in order to become an accomplished student in school. In order to become successful, one must have the mindset of a successful person. For instance, someone who is goal oriented and motivated to succeed has a better chance of success, rather than someone who puts play in front of school. Mental preparation is very essential to becoming a success, because it is not only what people or teachers see a student do, but it is the mentality that the student has the capability to complete a great assignment. An additional attribute to a successful student’s train of thought is responsibility. Arriving to class on time everyday is huge to the teacher’s perspective of a student. If a student is always on time and present, the teacher will automatically assume the student is ready to learn and ready to succeed, because being on time not only affects school but many important things as well, such as a job or an appointment. Another huge trait is organization, this is important in everyday life as well as school. Organization is necessary for the reason that, if an important paper is due and a student chooses to place the paper in an unusual spot, then this paper can be lost, and the student will receive no credit on the assignment. If this were to happen, then the student will lose credit and drop a grade, then will become less of a success than they could have been at the end of that grading period. Therefore important traits from a student are having motivation, being responsible and having good organizational skills. An opinion that is supported by many people is that it is necessary that a student receives encouragement from either family or a close friend. Support can be determined by many different ways, it could be when a student is overwhelmed with work and needs to go somewhere; a family member or friend would offer their house to them. In another situation, a student has a car that does not work too well and one day the car decides not to start in the morning, in that case the student has to call someone to get a ride to school in the morning.
