Sometimes it is against people's religion and their teachings e.g. one of the 10 commandments is 'Thou shallt not kill', so people would choose not to abort as that is killing a living person. If a woman or girl had something the matter with thereselves, wheather it was saving the baby and losing themselves or saving herself and no being able to have the child people might choose to adopt as there are always other options to having a child for example adopting or fostering a child. However some woman might choose to have the child and die themselves as they could possibly think they've had a chance on this earth, now they may let the child have a life. If the baby is goin to be born paralysed or disabled or have a servere illness, some womand would decide an abortion would be right...
