Well-known examples of this would be one such as Hitler’s dictatorship, communistic rule, and the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Il. The problems that arise from an individual or small group holding power is that decisions or policies are made according to personal beliefs and values. Therefore, the most ideal government for present society would be one that is elected by citizens, respects individual rights, and strive to work for the greatest common goal.
