Goals
...am working with is successful. That may mean picking up the slack for another team mate, being the team motivator, or just making sure that my work is up to part. Whatever the task may be I am willing to step up and take on the challenge. When you are a part of a team it is all or nothing. If one person fails then you all fail as a group. Because of this, it is crucial that everyone in the group is committed to accomplishing the task at hand. My greatest attribute is my ability to analyze and use critical thinking. For the most, part I am a practical person who analyzes everything before I act. One way that this will help my team is with our special projects. When you are working on a project as a group, you have to be able to assess the task at hand and formulate a plan that will allow everyone in the group to accomplish their assigned tasks successfully. The foundation of any successful group is healthy and consistent communication between its members. Being analytical is very helpful in the communication process because it allows me to better understand the individual members of my team and their view. If you and you teammates have an understanding of each other’s views and personalities, you are less likely to have miscommunications. Although I have strengths that I feel are beneficial in group work, I also have weaknesses that will be improved by working together with the members of my learning team. Public speaking has never been strength of mine. By working with my learning team, I feel that I will be able to improve my public speaking and presentation skill. The members of my team are very supportive. I believe that I can learn a lot from the members of my group that are used to giving presentations and speaking in front of people. As we do more projects where we are required to make class presentations as a team, I will gain more confidence in myself and my own abilities. But for now it helps to know that I am not alone and my teammates are behind me cheering me on. Asking for help is another area that I am weak at. I spend so much time trying to help others that it is hard to admit that I need help. Working in a group you have to rely on and trust each other.
