...familiar with the Spider Trust Company and its spider understand its concept and the ability to perform and make money. The lower half of the page features the mascot of Spider Trust, a large brightly colored unrealistic spider, inside a crystal clear dome. At the top of the spiders bright green head sits two wide open black dots representing its eyes. Looking at these little dots, in fact, remind the consumer of looking through a telescope and viewing the openness of space and think of the endless possibilities. Beneath these eyes are two small green lumps outlined by black lines which make out a closed mouth. On either side of this mouth are two finger-like feelers which are also green and have black tips. These feelers along with the mouth are positioned in a non-aggressive matter which is representing the tranquilness of this spider. This two tone color style sets the mood for this computer generated green giant and the eight legs of the spider. When looking over the spider one can not help but realize that this spider is the same color as paper money used in today’s stock market. The stomach, its fluorescent color of green, like a ripe granny smith apple, is considerably large for its body size. Just below the head is a light but very definable reflection of the spider’s underside. The brightness of the colors is slightly visible suggesting that the spider is sitting on a clear glass like counter top with a bright white bottom. The cleanness of this counter top can be related to the sterilized setting of a hospital, in that, when clean nothing will allow anything to infect your investment. To the left of the front left leg is a bright white spot. This spot indicates that a white light probably a camera flash is fixed on the trapped spider highlighting its vibrant colors and showing that someone is always watching your money. The stationary spider is covered by a clear bell shaped glass which has a small symbolic tone of the bell used in the American Stock Exchange. A full description of this clear solid cage for the spider is somewhat strange because it does not give the reason for its capture. It is to show the security of the consumer’s money or perhaps to ensure the consumer’s funds are secure? One possibility is that the glass is showing the consumer that their funds are safe. The glass is set in the back ground beneath two short paragraphs, one the top, and the other at the bottom of the page, in black small letters. The bold letters in the top paragraph is the slogan “Capture 500 of Americas leading companies.” This paragraph describes to the potential client that they can easily benefit from investing with the Spider Trust Company. In small black letters of the first sentence, ‘Nab a spider and you’ve instantly diversified your portfolio by gathering all the stock of th...
