The Pit of Hell
...n replaced by a dark, smoky haze that covered the entire seen. People were fleeing from an unknown location. Some of them were naked, as if they had had to leave their beds so quickly that they had no time to dress. They were panic stricken. The people were crying out of desperation. As she took a closer glance, she ran as fast as she could from the scene. She ran and ran till she stumbled. Crying out for help, she closed her eyes so tight and refused to open it. Still she could picture the scene in her mind. A frightening, disturbing scene. Faces were distorted by the agony of their punishment. After she had calmed down, Vonda slowly opened her eyes. Catapulting herself up out of bed and flinging the covers off herself, she looked around her dark room, and slowly lowered her head to her hands. Wiping off her forehead, she realized she was sopping wet, from head to toe. She groaned softly, “a dream, just a terrible nightmare.” Climbing out of bed slowly, she walked over to her kitchen and grabs a glass of milk. Through the smoke haze, Vonda could not determine who the person was but she recognized the voice. It was her mother. Vonda’s mother was in hell! She long to extend her hand and grab her mother, to take away that tormented look on her mother’s face, she tried and tried but she couldn’t save her mother. Vonda fell down to her knees; she felt a knife stabbed right through her heart. It was too much for her to bear! Still kneeling on the floor, Vonda could not control her tears. She wept her heart out. As she lifted her head, the image was gone. She knew what she had to do. She knew the truth. She knew that she had to warn the people. It was a great awakening! From that day forward, she warned every soul on earth about the great awakening. She told people what ...
