It is probable that the influence in its Spanish of the Portuguese had a great influence thus generating new lexicons or taking words coming from the Portuguese to express itself. It is of supposition that the same would happen with the Portuguese. The asorianos were agricultural-cattle and most of illiterate them influencing therefore the speech and consequently the writing of the Spaniards. The documents that I am going to analyze belong to the two first decades of presence of asorianos in San Carlos. First it is of August of 1771. It is a maritally report, these were very common then and tried to certify if the person who had not been born in the place and came from the foreign one was honest and unmarried. The churches requested that there were witnesses who testified on the person and her life in their country of origin. Who offered themselves as witnesses had to know for a long time the person and before arriving at the place, in this case San Carlos. This manuscript is made up of three folios and a folio zero that probably was a title page that served to file the maritally information.
