The current state of absolution from sin, I see to be corrupt and used to draw more attention to the church. Incedentaly it draws away from the simple ideals of forgiveness. The current state, the manner in which absolution from sins is handled, involving repenting, basicly adds up to a saying of "I'm sorry" This being unsubstantial in my mind, probaly is an evolution from what once may have been a beneficial occurance. One feels he has sinned, major or minor, talks of such with a preist seeking advice and guidance. Reaching out to a wised man of good faith (idealy those traits a preist would embody) for wisdom and guidance to help him choose in a maner virtuous so he can step foward to a life of good, of love. Secondly: Some words to help guide him apon a new path, some prayers to keep by his heart and a side of blessings to wish him good fortune, good judgement apon the choices he will make henceforth.
