...of hanging out with friends, I was studying, being an active member of the Civil Air Patrol, and working to pay for the costs of books and flying. The only way I was going to make it through community college was through hard work; slacking off was easy in high school. My greatest achievement so far was obtaining my private pilots license, knowing that all that work had finally paid off. The only thing I have ever wanted to do in life is achieve academic success. My father works very hard for his earnings, but it will be the death of him. I always knew that I never wanted to have to work like he does, but be like him in the sense of an honest hard worker. I want to be able to take care of him and my step mom when I am financially stable in the workforce. Knowing I need to buckle down and mold my life’s ambitions into my future, for it would be easiest for me to remain in society’s lower class; ending up going nowhere in a dead end job. If I can inspire my siblings to take charge of their own lives and make something of themselves, then I have already done my job. It is not why I am motivated, but who motivates me. My Life Experiences and Achievements I have done things in my life that I am extremely proud of. All of the vehicles I drive, I paid for. I have been a full-time student, a full-time employee, and still managed the extra curricular activity I love the most: football! I have never believed that you can go through life with regrets. Everything you do happens for a reason. This year I moved away from my family to Spokane to attend flight school, my plans fell through. I thought that I was completely alone and out of luck.
