... them, so my mom isn’t that spiritual. Even today when she does decide to go to church, she’ll finally get up at nine fifteen, after already hitting the snooze button three times. Once she gets to church; the song and praise session is almost over and all she thinks about is, that it’s an hour and a half before she can go back home and go back to sleep. She’s always tired because she works all day: Monday thru Friday and comes back home and cooks for me and my brother. And after that she watches her soap operas and goes to sleep. My dad was raised right here in El Paso, Texas, which wasn’t big at the time but it was a lot bigger than Kermit. His real mom had died of cancer, so soon after she had past my dad’s dad and step mom raised him along with his three brothers and sisters, Eddie, Jenny, and Barbie. He was already a middle child before his new step mom brought along her three kids, Terry, Scott, and Mariana. He too was often neglected by his parents, but he reacted in a very different way than my mom. His attitude was more like I don’t need anybody and don’t trust anybody. He often snuck out and got into trouble with the law. He got involved with the wrong crowd and drugs at an early age. He started off by smoking and selling weed. He would even go to the Catholic Church high. But everyone knows that weed is a gateway drug and it leads to bigger and stronger addictions. His addiction just happened to be crack cocaine and money. He was so crazy and money hungry that he would go across boarders, like Mexico and New Mexico with large amounts of marijuana or cocaine under his jacket...
