The Resilient One

The second reason why Rosaura is a resilient person is because she did not agree with what Luciana’s cousin did to her. As soon as Luciana’s cousin saw Rosaura she said “And you? Who are you?” (2). When Rosaura told her that she is a friend of Luciana, Luciana’s cousin said “no you are not a friend of Luciana because I’m her cousin and I know all her friends. And I don’t know you” (2). That statement did not stop Rosaura spirits she kept doing what she was doing which was running errands for Luciana’s mother. The resilience of Rosaura would not allow her to believe what anybody say to her which is somewhat good. In some cases she can get hurt mentally if she is to resilient. Some readers might say she does not listen but it is the complete opposite for her; she is just a child that have dreams and want give up to get those dreams. If more kids were goal oriented like Rosaura the world probably will be more successful than what it is now. The third reason why Rosaura is a resilient person is because she was doing chores not knowing that she was training to be an employee. While she was talking to the girl with the blonde hair Sefiora Ines asked Rosaura “can she help serve the hotdogs, as she knew the house so much better than the others” (3). Rosaura enjoyed helping Sefiora Ines pass out items like hotdogs and bring juice to the serving table. Rosaura did not know that she was training to be an employee at the big house; she thought that she was just helping out at the party as a helper since she knew the house well. When the magician started to do his act it seems like the only one that could help with the act was Rosaura. The magician said “You, with the Spanish eyes” (4).
