For example, a laundromat opened up in Grand Forks, and they chose “Get-R-Done Laundromat” as their title for their new business. This popular slogan has helped boost their business and sales by attracting a wide range of comedic fans. Another common place to hear this expression is at various social functions- sporting events, concerts, movie theatres, etc. One time in particular, some friends and I were at a boy’s basketball game, yelling and screaming, being obnoxious fans. We made signs that said “get-r-done”, holding them up to sidetrack the opponents, showing off our team spirit. Whenever a player on the other team would be at the free-throw line we would yell, “GET-R-DONE KNIGHTS!” or “WE KNOW HOW TO ‘GET-R-DONE!’” It was down to the last minute in the fourth quarter.
