...ginnings to fame and fortune which leads us to dream of a life of noteriety and 10 million dollar movie roles while we ponder to ourselves If it could happen to us, If that one day we can evolve into "Homo Celebritus" and leave the homo sapiens behind. Looking up to celebrities as if they where more than human Sardar campares celebrities to Zoo animals, "We gaze at human celebrities rather as we gaze at zoo animals" as rare creatures that live unfathomnable lives only to be told in stories and rumors of glamor that we consume vigorously. We can blatenly see all aspects of celebrities lives, from the fame to the money to the global recognition as we are bombarded with images and rumors in magazines and television and it inspires our imagination leaves us wanting more, more details about a life we preceive to be more noteworthy than our own, In reference to Sardars quote "In the celebrity infested virtual zoo, both observers and observed are caged. Both are products of a caged imagination where aspirations and actuality are limited to narrowly confined spaces that lead inevitably to madness". From a celebrities point of view after the glamor is commonplace a life of constant supervision and ridicule over any possible action taken could leave them drained and essentially caged by their fame in million dollar mansions unable to leave without be heckled by the masses. While we all want to acquire such social status we might lose track of what we need instead, such as an education or happiness. A never ending pursuit of stardom may allow one to dream of it but if the realization of it not occuring never happens then you'll be left with wasted time and obsession.
