If you exercise the death penalty, the methods that you execute criminals will make them think twice about committing crimes. Also it is a fact that when people go to prison, most of the time they end up back there, so if you execute the criminals, you eliminate them from society and the crime rates go down. • Capital punishment is a cost effective way to eliminate inmates for life without parole. To keep inmates in the prisons, even though they have zero chance of being liberated, is costing the citizens through their tax dollars to keep the criminals alive. It has been proven that it is cheaper to proceed with the death penalty over inmates for life without parole. • Capital punishment does risk the unjust executions of innocent people, yet that is the risk that should be taken.
