...ed. The professors wouldn’t let cheating slide. In all his golf practices and tournaments, he was watched even closer, and there was no way he could be capable of 30cheating there. Johnny was lost, scared, confused, and upset. Johnny figured that since his roommate, Ben, was in many of his classes, he could just copy Bens homework. That turned out to be a horrible 35idea; Ben was one of the most unintelligent people he had ever met, and was just at college because of a football scholarship. Since he couldn’t copy Ben’s homework, Johnny had no idea what he was doing. He 40often didn’t even turn in his work because he didn’t understand it, and had no way of doing it. He knew he was failing all of his classes, and when he had tests, he left at least half of the page blank. Johnny’s exam papers were never a 45passing grade, and his teachers even questioned how he got into college. They were even more curious about how he was so smart in high school, and all of a sudden had no idea what he was doing in college. 50 Golf didn’t go over well either. Johnny was used to being the top golf player in the state; he was even nationally ranked! He was captain of his high school team, and almost never lost a tournament. That made his coaches and 55teammates question how he was in college on a golf scholarship. Many coaches knew of his excellent reputation, and now that he was one of the worst on the team, they were not only angry, but confused. 60 One day, Johnny had a gigantic golf tournament. He was used to cheating and winning. When he saw his competition, and realized he had no way to even place, he panicked. Johnny, overwhelmed from school 65and his sports, walked out of the competition, not even willing to try. He didn’t even want to embarrass himself, or make anyone question his high school status. If anyone found out that he’d been getting through his life by cheating at just 70about everything he did, he would have nothing. His parents would be upset, his coaches would be upset, and his awards would probably be taken away, as well as getting kicked off the golf team. 75 Once Johnny got back to his dorm room, he flopped down on his bed and thought what to do. He couldn’t quit the golf team, because then he’d get his scholarship...
