Recreation Site Visit and Report

...s, swimming pools, dance rooms, and much more. All of these things are a great way to spend your leisure time. The YMCA is open to anyone who wants to have a great time and stay fit at the same time. Anybody is welcome to the YMCA. I think that it is a great place for students and anyone else to go to recreate. The customers that use the YMCA can really get a lot out of this facility. They are able to get into great shape and have fun at the same time. You don’t only have to go down there by yourself, but you are able to take a friend. If you can’t find someone to go then I’m sure you will make a friend down there. The YMCA has so many activities to do that it is almost impossible to get bored. Some of the issues for this for the YMCA is that it is a real old building, and it is hard to keep up with all the new things that are coming out. There is also those people out there that don’t respect other people’s property, so they tend to do some things that are not appropriate to do in a public place. Those are the major problems at the YMCA. B) One of the main things that we have learned is where the YMCA is located. This is an important thing to know because it is a place where you can get involved in the community and meet people. Mr. Clark talked to us about what his job was about and what is expected of him at the YMCA, this information gives us a little better understanding of what are major is about and what we could expect if we where to pursue a career in a organization like the YMCA. The YMCA is also a great place to go and give back to the community by doing some community services. We know how easy it is to go there and do some community service. There are a wide range of people that are apart of the YMCA. The have young and old members and people for all over the community that join. I think that the most important thing that was learned through this interview was how the YMCA gets people to keep coming back and new people to join....
